Hey there Lex Army!  

Beyond beer walls, badugi memes and hyped countdowns, I'm just a regular guy from Vancouver, Canada.

I work as a waiter in a steakhouse and actually ENJOY my job!   Go figure, eh?

Anyway, if you haven't figured it out yet - lexarmy.com is my little labour of love.  

I wanted to create a platform for us all to get to know each other while at the same time inflating Lord Lex Veldhuis' ego...

Poker is not the main reason I watch Lex.   Sure, it’s super exciting when Lex runs deep in a tourney but I’m just as happy to hang out on his stream when he’s playing games or just chatting with his community.

My favourite time of the stream is actually that 15 minutes before he starts his countdown.   It’s usually just me, RuthAnn and Lex just chatting.

As for my fellow viewers, Lex’s community is amazing.   When I go to other Twitch streams and see how toxic some of the chat is, I’m always proud of how great Lex’s community is.   It’s a testament to both Lex and his mods.   There are so many regulars in the chat each stream and you actually feel a genuine love between everyone.   I’ve never met any of them and I feel like I know so many of them

So many streams, so many moments...

As crazy as it sounds, my favorite moments are the non-poker ones.   I love that pre-countdown time when it's just me, RuthAnnK and Lex hanging out and I love when Lex is in Just Chatting mode with no delay.

This is actually a bad beat I gave to others...

I had 55, flopped trips vs two opponents on flush draws.   Turn gave me quads and the poker gods were nice enough to give each of my opponents their flush on the river.

First opponent goes all in for $150, next guy reshoves allin for $400 and all I have to do is call and show them the bad news...
